Yearly report on Collection
1. In catalog program create a 10 year report with title, publication date, call number.
2. Export it and open in Excel.
3. Arrange data by call number.
4. Tally numbers up in a new column, entering the data by Dewey number in the Collection Age Report – see template.
5. When done, copy the worksheet to a new sheet.
6. Arrange data by publication date.
7. Delete all items over 10 years old – e.g. publication date 2003 and older.

2004 10
8. Repeats steps in 3 and 4.
9. Copy and paste the following data from worksheet into worksheet with graph:
Copyright date no later than ten (10) years from the current year
Total number of print and eBooks
Hint: When you copy and paste to graph use "paste special" and "paste link"
